Cookie Policy

Notice provided pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and to the Italian data protection authority’s guidelines on the use of cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021. Last updated: August 2026.

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is Rima S.R.L., VAT no. 14779910968, Viale Monte Grappa 4, 20124 Milan (MI). Contact: info@rima.technology. For the full picture of our processing activities see the Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device to store information between one visit and the next. Alongside cookies there are similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage and tracking pixels, to which the same rules apply. On this site we use local storage to remember the choice you make on the banner.

3. The categories we use

Strictly necessary cookies

Always on

They allow the site to work and store the choice you make on the banner. They do not require consent under Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and cannot be switched off.

Duration: session · up to 6 months as proof of consent

Measurement cookies

Consent only

They let us understand, in aggregate form, which pages are viewed and which channels visitors arrive from, so we can improve the content of the site.

Duration: up to 14 months

Marketing cookies

Consent only

They are used to measure how effective our campaigns are and to show relevant communications on third-party platforms.

Duration: up to 13 months

Non-essential cookies stay switched off until you give freely given, specific consent. If you decline, you can keep browsing the site with no limitations whatsoever.

4. Third-party cookies

Measurement and marketing tools, when enabled, are provided by third parties acting either as processors or as independent controllers. Where the provider involves a transfer to countries outside the EEA, this takes place on the basis of an adequacy decision or of the Standard Contractual Clauses. An up-to-date list of the active providers, with links to their own notices, is available on request at info@rima.technology.

5. Giving and withdrawing consent

On your first visit the banner lets you accept all cookies, decline them all, or choose the categories individually. Closing the banner with the “X” counts as declining, and no non-essential cookie is installed.

You can change your mind at any time through the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page. We record your choice for 6 months; once it expires the banner is shown again.

6. Managing cookies from your browser

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Deleting the strictly necessary cookies may break some features of the site, including the storage of your consent choice.

7. Rights and complaints

You can exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR by writing to info@rima.technology, and lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
